Rules:
-Medicine cats and Apprentices can not have kits unless we make a plot that says so.
-Queens must have been at least 1 moon past their warrior ceremony.
-If you can't find people to rp kits (you may do this if you wish) then they will need some way to dissapear, which means you can choose between them running away and becoming a later plot part once you find someone to rp them, or they die. (MUAHAHAHA!)
-Type '~MonkeyBananas~' at the bottom of your threads for both searching for mate and for kits.
-Spare us the graphic details. Please! It's a rule!!
-After you have found a mate, add MATE FOUND to the end of your title.
-Starclan decides how many kits you get
-You must have known your mate for 5 days at least and talked with him/her And it takes seven (min) days for kits to be born.
-You are to post your kits after Starclan tells you how many you shall receive. You can do this much later after they are born or when they are 'of roleplaying age' (about three moons/seven days IRL). You must do this whether you have people asigned to them or not, and if you do, please just add that in their bio. THey also determine their looks and the like, but it will be via pic if oneis found. ANd they will look like their parents, except in rare cases we might throw in an oddball or two.
-You can't play the mother AND the father.
-anything else that I forgot.
-Please follow the rules and thank you for your time and consideration.

Mating Form:

Make a thread entitled with your cat's name and clan like this:

~NAME~CLAN

And use this form:

Your cats name: your cat's name
Cats clan: your cat's clan
Gender: Your cat's gender
How many kits are you hoping for: the amount of kits you wish, though starclan gives final desicion, we usually grant your request.
Rpers who wish to rp the kits: do you have anyone that wants to rp your kits?
Anything else: You can mention something of your personality or appearance, how they will react to their mate, or who you wish to be mates with.

Ex:
~Fireheart~Thunder clan

Your cats name: Fireheart
Cats clan: Thunderclan
Gender: Male
How many kits are you hoping for:3-4
Rpers who wish to rp the kits: not yet
Anything else: *nudges Sandstorm*

When you reply, you use this form:

And fill it out in a similair fashion

Ex:

After Sandstorm replies, Fireheart would change his title as below if he approves, which he does.

If he had another applicant, let's say...Spottedleaf, then he would ake a post approving of either Spottedleaf or Sandstorm, and ending it there. No arguments are to be had, and those who post here are usually on a first-come first-serve basis anyway....

For Kits[/u]

Name the parents and their clan(s). Then give a small bio for each kit. A sugestion form:

Name: The name of your kit.
Gender: The gender of your kit.
Appearance: What it looks like. You can either be descriptive or breif and allow them to make up the rest.
Personality: Be very brief and vague. Leave room for changes as the kit grows older, or a suggestion of what you wish.

you could also just post the name and picture, or do whatever. When You are 'adopting' a kit to roleplay, fill it out again but with more detail:

Ex:

Let's say Fireheart and Sandstorm got two kits:leakit and squirrelkit. You put the mini-bios up for both.

Give form:

Sandstorm And Firheart of Thunderclan

Name: Leafkit
Gender: Female
Appearance: A light brown tabby cat with amber eyes and white paws.
Personality: Leafkit is sweet and quiet. She is very close to her sister.

Name:Squirrelkit
Gender: Female
Appearance: A beautiful orange pelt and green eyes. One paw is white.
Personality: She is very jumpy and energetic. She is also very close to Leafkit.

Let's say you want to rp Leafkit. You can either do bios for both and let the parents give you either (depending on which bio they like better, or if someone else wants Leafkit, you can still get Squirrelkit). When you post saying you want it, You would make their shorter bio more elaborate, like this:

Name: Leafkit
Gender: Female
Appearance: She is a small light brown tabby. Her stripes are a slightly darker tone than the rest of her body and seem to stand out in a rather beautiful pattern. Her paws are a creamy white, blending in to her tan-like pelt up at about 'knee' high. Her tail is curved an elegant, and her eyes are a shining golden amber.

Personality: Leafkit is rather held back, but a kind and considerate youngster. She is very knowledgable and curious, enjoying her new discoveries. She also is close to her sister, and their special bond has given them abilities that could aid them on future travels. She aspires to be the next Medicine cat.

Notice how I used what was given to me above and added and expanded it.

You will also add on an rp example. History is not needed until the parents of the kit decide who rps the kit (in this case, leafkit) and then it will be when you create your bio for the cat. It must be at least three sentences for each section when applying, as is for normal acception bios. The parents get to pick who rps the kit. History doesn't have to be seriously long as long as it meets requirements. Not much history for a kit is there....

Uh Ravenstar? Leaders and Deputies actually can have kits. Oh and you can have a mate outside your clan. If you dont beleive me then here are the rules from a very old site that follows the books: silverandstone.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=Kits&action=display&thread=1105404823

The only two things on those rules that dont matter to other sites are that it would take 7 days for birth and 7 days for them to be able to be played, and that the mates must have known each other for at least 5 days. Those are just rules that they made so that they could keep order with their kit 'havings'.

Umm.. If you have read the books, BLuestar had kits but wasn't allowed to keep them so she sent them to Riverclan. I think.... I don't remember things from books well. And in most sites I see it says that. The reason that one might not is because it is as you said. A really old site. So that means it might not have gotten there yet in the series when the site was made and they didn't change it. And it's only FEMALE leaders and deps..
Also, you can have mates outside your clan involving a plot I suppose... It would drive the clan insane if they knew you were seeing them, and it's worse if you have kit (Silverstream & GreyStripe. Even Fire... heart(at the time) was mad at Greystripe for mating outside the clan. And when they had kits, it was very confusing for them.).
But this is a dsifferent site, so I will change the rules. And your right about the kits (5 days 7 days thing). I forgot about that, sorry. Well... I forgot to ask at least because the times differ between sites. That last one was my fault.

I will change the rules like that for now, but becuase sites differ, we might need to get Maplestar's confirmation on which ones.

I think that female Deputies and Leaders are not allowed to be Queens. They can have kits as long as the kits are apprentices or older. Bluestar gave up her kits to RiverClan because she wanted to become Deputy in place of a different cat who she thinks would not have made a very good leader, and her kits were not yet apprentices.

Leaders and Deputies are not allowed to have kits because then they become Queens. Actually, I think they can, and become Queens for that time, while their duties are replaced by someone else until their kits become apprentices.

Queens are not allowed to become Deputy or Leader because they have to stay with their kits all the time and cannot go into battle and have to keep looking after their kits instead of the rest of the Clan.

Apprentices aren't allowed to have mates, I believe... in the books, Dustpelt liked Fernpaw, but I think he waited until she was a warrior. As apprentices you are allowed to like and love, but not allowed to mate.

That's what I think is given from the books... but this website doesn't have to be exactly by the books.
