She pushes forward
Her feet pounding against the ground
Running
Not from her past
But for her hopes

She slips on the stones beneath her feet
Thats not enough to stop her
The rewards at the end are far to great
To let anything keep her from the finish line
Encouragement from her friends pushes her forward
As her pace begins to quicken
