Terminology
admin-Short for administrator. MapleStar is the only official admin, though BirchWind is her co-admin and has almost the exact same power.
admin assistant-A helper who is a regular member who has tried out for the role as either a bio critic, security gaurd, designer, member janitor, help desk operator, or greeter.
bio-Short for biography. A form filled out for each character describing the character's appearance, personality, history, age in moons, name, position, clan, and gender, and contains an example of the RPer's skills, test(s) to see if the RPer has read the rules, and possible additional information.
board-Under categories, where threads are made. Such as "Warrior Code" "StarClan Camp" "OOC Chat" See also sub-board
category-Where boards are placed. Such as "Bios etc." "OOC" "General"
charri-Short for character, chatspeak.
darkstone-The announcement rock in the ShadowClan camp.
flatrock-The announcement rock in the WindClan camp.
fourtrees-Four large oaks in a circle with a clearing in the middle just large enough for all the clan cats to come for a monthy gathering. There is one oak tree in each of the clan's territory.
fox dung-A sort of swear word in the warrior world, also can be used as an insult.
gathering-A meeting of all the clans on every full moon. It is the only night that there is a truce. Leaders sit upon the Great Rock and announce their clan's news.
GCA-A rarely used acronym for The Golden Cat Award, an award given out every two months to one of the eight nominated members after voting is finished. The winner recives a special signature and keeps it until the next winner is awarded.

highstones-Pointed mountains on the edge of WindClan territory where mothermouth and the moonstone are placed.
kittypet-A house cat

loner-A cat that is neither a kittypet nor a clan cat, but chooses to live on it's own. Many loners live near twoleg barns where they catch mice.
med cat-Short for medicine cat
meddie-See "med cat"
mod-Short for moderator. Of lesser power than admin. Leaders, Deputies, Medicine Cats
moonstone-A large white stone inside of highstones. When the moon is right over it, it glows and cats will touch their nose to it to share tongues with StarClan. Leaders come here to recieve their nine lives, and medicine cats come here for their meetings as well as when they become a medicine cat.
mothermouth-The entrance into highstones, leading to the moonstone. A once used mine shaft.
mouse brain-An insult not as intense as fox dung.
mouse dung-Another sort of swear word, though not as intense as fox dung.
newleaf-Spring
PM-Acronym for Personal Message. A message you can send to a selected user.
post-A reply to a thread
RC-Acronym for RiverClan
riverstone-The anouncement rock in the RiverClan camp.
rogue-A cat that is an exiled clan cat. Usually hostile.
RP-Acronym for Role Play. The act of writing out the actions of a character.
RPG-Acronym for Role Play Game. Usually a forum. Role Players (RPers) will post back and forth for their character.
ShC-Acronym for ShadowClan
sheathed-Covered, when a cat's claws are retracted.
shimmerpool-A small pool in the StarClan medicine cat's den. The StarClan medicine cat will use it to forsee things to warn the clans about.
shimmerstone-The announcement rock in the StarClan camp.
sig-Short for signature, a picture/graphic, usually of the character being role played.
siggy-See "sig"
spam-An unnecessary post or thread. Usually very annoying. Something taking up unnecessary space.
StC-Acronym for StarClan
sub-board-A board inside a board. Where threads can be started. Such as "News" "Admin/Mod Chat" "Prayer Chain"
TC-Acronym for ThunderClan
terra-Territory
thread-A start of a new topic or series of RPs. Made in boards.
thunderpath-A highway or road
treecut place-A place just outside of Twoleg Place where they grown and cut trees.
twoleg-A human
unsheathed-Not covered; the opposite of sheathed; when a cat's claws are out and can be used.
