Sunpool didn't have the delight to waking up with the sun softly dancing around his eyes. Instead the ThunderClan deputy's sneezing fit woke him up. When he was finally able to breathe again he took a huge yawn. He sighed and sat down and looked at his ruffled pelt. The few days have been busy for the entire Clan, making preperations for leaf-bare. He hopped the medicine den was well stocked, the last thing the Clan needed was an outbreak of greencough. For a moment, Sunpool thought about going to check it out, but if the medicine cat saw him this way, with his runny eyes and nose, he would get trapped in there forced to eat bitter herbs and not allowed to set a pawstep outside of the den. As Clan deputy, Sunpool had more important duties to take care of, and his Clan couldn't afford to have him imprisoned in the medicine cat's den. With a final glance at his rumpled pelt he stalked out of the den to organize the patrols.
When he had finished, he decided that it would be best if he hunted alone, not wanting to give his minor cold to another one of his Clanmates. But, he had a feeling that today was going to be a wonderful hunting day. Within a few minutes he had already finished of a mouse. Sunpool sat up and wondered if the ThunderClan deputy before him had ever done the same thing as he. She must have because this was her territory.
After an hour or two went by, Sunpool had two mice, three birds, and only one squirrel. Normally, he would have gathered a much smaller haul, but they would be making a storage pile for the winter. Just as he was beginning to go home, he heard a rustling and imediantly tensed.
((Haha, sorry for the fail post. I'm tired.)
