It had been such a long, long day. Pandapaw had been roaming around a lot recently, but on this particular day the she-cat had gone out with the dawn patrol with her mentor and after marking their territory she had also gone hunting with her mentor, catching a couple of fish for her clan. After bringing the food home, she saw how little fish had actually been caught recently. It was always hard once leaf-bare began to set in, as fish was their main prey and they weren't attainable once the water froze over. Still it was early in the seasons and she hadn't expected a shortage as quickly as had appeared. It made her sad, but the younger kits and apprentices needed to eat first, as well as any queens and elders, so she would wait until everyone else had their fill. Warriors needed to keep up their strength, too, so if there were anything left, she'd eat then.
But, alas, there was only one mouse, and both her and her brother Nightpaw hadn't eaten when she got to the pile, so she took one bite as he offered her half, and let him have the rest. It would be okay; there was always tomorrow...or, later, if Panda was feeling adventurous enough. For now the sun was already beginning to set, and Pandapaw was content with just relaxing, glad that her long, hard day of training was finally over. She hadn't had to do any fighting recently, which she was glad for as she was constantly feeling worn out as it was, but the young apprentice knew that it would be coming any day, now, that she'd have battle training. She sighed as she made her way to the den, giving her ruffled black and white fur a few licks to smooth it down. Once she was inside, Pandapaw arched her back and stretched, unsheathing her long, black claws, letting them dig into the soft earth beneath her pads.
As she got ready to lay down in her warm little area of the den, a noise was heard from the entrance. Her ice blue eyes gazed over toward the entrance, where the last light of day beamed in, casting a shadow over the other cat. "Oh, hello, are you coming to relax, too? It's still early, you know. You could probably share tongues with the others in camp. I'm just a little worn out." she mewed pleasantly, her long feathery tail wrapping around her body as she curled up in her spot. Ah, this was the life. 'I wouldn't mind the company, though." she added, nodding to the spot next to hers. 'How was your day?"

[[OOC: I hope you don't mind if I drop in. It's just too tempting.]]
The golden cat found his paws carrying him back to camp. After a long stroll through the forest, and after several failed attempts to catch prey, the tom was now heading home. Rest was definitely on his mind. Briefly he asked himself- How can I rest when the Clan is in need of food? Prey should not be in hiding this early in leaf-bare. It's unnatural. Thunderpaw padded in through the camp entrance, collecting mud on his paws. He tracked the mud all the way to the apprentice's den, making a silent note to clean his paws when he was in his nest.
The light of the day was fading, and he didn't notice one of his fellow apprentices was in the den until she spoke to him. "Oh, hello, are you coming to relax, too? It's still early, you know. You could probably share tongues with the others in camp. I'm just a little worn out." Thunderpaw shook his head, his yellow eyes squinting in order to see the cat curled up in the shadows. Pandapaw! It was one of his friends. Why hadn't he recognized her voice? "No, I'm exhausted. I'm going to groom myself anyways. I don't know anyone that likes the taste of mud." He grimaced.
"I wouldn't mind the company, though. How was your day?" He blinked once. "My day?" Thunderpaw asked, slipping over to the mossy nest that was next to hers, curling up. "Well, I went out for a walk and tried to go hunting. There was no prey in sight, so I didn't catch anything. I was out there for quite some time... to sum it all up, Pandapaw, my day was tiring and boring. And I'm starving! But I can't eat since I didn't catch anything." The tom began to lick his mud-covered paws. "How was your day?"
