I would love honest comments, though. I know it isn't my best work, but I kind of like it.

I'm backed into a corner
The light, its blinding
The shadows, terrifying

I wrap my arms around myself, just me and my shadow
How can this be? It's like you're not even there
And yet, without you, the pain is too much to bear...

This disfigured shadow sitting at my feet
It grabs me, takes a hold
There is no struggle; I accept the unknown
