Power of Three: Sunrise {BIG SPOILERS}

Just finished the book...and WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?
I can't believe HollyLeaf DIED! Or how bezerk she went! What were those authors THINKING? Oh we need to kill off some cats, and hey lets totally screw up a character while we're at it by saying she murdered a cat to save a secret, only to release that secret, then tried to kill her mother before gallivanting off into the woods to go become a hermit only to kill herself. How could they kill off a main character like that?! I have to admit that I never liked her that much and that she didn't seem to have any special power, but nevertheless they KILLED HER. -ahem- Anyway, what was everyone else's take on the book?

I loved it ;D. That was an awesome book from an awesome series. I can't believe Hollyleaf's dead, either. >>. I mean, we need another she-kitty Dx But I'm glad that Whitewing finally had her kits!<33 And now Jayfeather's gonna be the full meddie and I'm sure that Lionblaze will become the next deputy. >].

i LOVED the book but i kinda thought [after i figured out she killed ashfur] hollyleaf should be like exiled or something. i agree with chu whitefur lion should definatly become next deputy!

I'm with you Maple. I hated this book. I thought erin Hunter adding a couple new Erin Hunters must have been a bad idea. I mean. Holy crap. Hollyleaf-insane and dead. Squirrelflight- hated by her mate. Leafsong- no longer a meddie AND hated by the tom she loved. Series- JK we're not actually going to finish this series. We're going to add on to it with another series. Argh! I'm glad Bluestar's Prophecy made up for the crappiness seen here.

I agree with all of you. In some ways, I LOVED THE BOOK! And then in other ways, I thought it was terrible!! I hope the Fourth Apprentice, series will be a lot better. But you're right, Rain, Bluestar's Prophecy was a lot better, and it did make up for Sunrise. And, what where they thinking naming the sixth book in the third series, after they called the sixth book in the second series Sunset!?! I get so mixed up with them! ACK!!! But, even though they have gotten simple, I don't think I'll ever stop reading Warriors, no matter how terrible they get. But so far, the first series is my favourite, because, it had more of a better plot to it, it stuck with one character, and the evil was another cat.

I agree with Sunpool! I mean, naming the sixth book Sunrise? Lame-o. And I read the Fourth Apprentice. It was terrible in my opinion! Half the book was about the beavers. And leopardstar is going crazy in my opinion!
