So. I'm currently half way through watching it just behind me in the living room. And it's a real eye opener. I never really felt as horrible for Jesus as I do now. What kind of affect did the movie have on you?

I actually haven't seen it, although at some point I probably will. There's been a couple time where what all the stuff he when through has come up though at my youth group and I can't even fathom it. Like, he was whipped within literally one inch of his life. That's just insane I don't even want tho think about how much that would hurt.

Oh goodness. My mom got it for me for Christmas because i asked. Anywho. Wow. It was so weird. I watched it, and the whole time i had chills. Just thinking about every Jesus had to go through, and he put up with it. He didn't think one ill thought about any of those people, because he like actually knew that God's plan was already set in motion. I mean, we think we have it hard, think about knowing that your going to die on the cross, and for that one moment, God just turns away from you because of all the sins that rest upon your shoulders. I love that movie. A lot of people said that they cried, but i didn't. I was more in shock, its like wow. It made me think differently about religion when I saw it right in front of me. You know?

I agree with you, Erica.
It's like...wow. I just didn't expect it to be so intense. I didn't really cry, but I could feel the knot in my throat when they murdered him. And just the fact that Jesus took all of those beatings and went through the bloodbath makes it all worse. Idk.
All I'm saying is that after seeing this movie, I believe in God again.

Me too.
Apparently when they were "whipping" him in the movie, they accidental hit him for real, and the glass got cough on his rib cage and tore to his back. I was like "... suee." But anywhom, thats irrelevant. xD I think it kind of made my faith stronger. Just having it played out for me made everything fall in balance for some reason. It was weird. But i really love that movie.
