Max eagerly awaited his turn in line to get his first ever Pokemon. He had waited his whole life for this, and now it was finally coming true. He thought about which Pokemon he should chose. Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur. They were all good, and he didn't mind which one he got, he wanted to be like Ash Ketchum, but he didn't like the Pokemon Pikachu. Max got closer and closer to the front of the line, and when he finally got there, he looked at Professor Oak and said, "I want Charmander." Oak handed him a pokeball, and Max looked at it, excitement lighting up his eyes. He opened the Pokeball, and let Charmander out.
