Brina shuddered. "True... maybe the teacher won't care or something...? All I know is I am NOT going back in there!" Now that she said it, she was sticking to her word. She noticed a tall shadow looming out of the classroom from behind, getting smaller...
The shadow of the teacher.
And that could only mean one thing.
He was coming, and he was coming now.
"RUN! HIDE! GO!" She started running as quickly and as quietly as should could. The other three were at her side. Seth gave her a questioning glance. "Why are we running?" He asked in a loud enough voice to make Brina even more paranoid. Brina growled at him, narrowing her eyes, and harshly whispered, "BECAUSE THE TEACHER'S COMING, IDIOT! WE'RE GOING TO BE CAAAUUUGGGHTTT!" The last of her sentence had turned into a pitiful squeak, and she blushed slightly of embarassment. Suddenly, she found her escape.
"Quick, in here!" She shoved Sam and Noah into the girl's bathroom. For a moment, things were quiet. An awkward silence.
"Umm..." A silence that Noah broke. "I REALLY shouldn't be in here... if I'm caught, I'll be in more trouble than you two." Unenthusiastically, he added, "And even MORE trouble, just for existing."
Brina started giggling like crazy at the fact he was there, and Sam joined her. "Suddenly the Noah-being-a-girl-joke seems kind of funny, considering you're in here! I wonder what Seth's going to say!" Brina chimed happily. Noah glared at her, tearing. "It's NOT funny!" Brina calmed down a little, her voice emitting guilt. "It was just a joke, Noah..." Noah backed away a little. "I HATE jokes!"
Brina got quiet and stared at her feet, mumbling, "Sorry..." Sam watched them the whole time, empathizing and feeling the negative energy in the room. "Aw come on guys... cheer up!" She encouraged, and, changing the subject, said, "I wonder where Seth is..."
Brina was quiet for a moment, then looked up. "Yeah. He didn't come in here. Wonder if he got away." She said blankly.
Suddenly, footsteps could be heard. The teacher was coming.
