After receiving her sticker, she went over to Seth and grinned. "Seth's got a crush on Saaaaam!" She mocked in an annoying voice. "Seth's got a crush on Saaaaam!"

Seth glared at her. "I do not! Go away, you stupid ugly pest!" Brina laughed. "I KNOW I'm ugly and stupid, and I REALLY don't care! All I know is that you like Sam, haha!" She looked proud of herself.

"Well YOU like NOAH!" He snarled. Brina smirked. "Yeah, and? So what if I did?"

"Whatever." He ignored her, and went deep into his own thoughts.

Brina put the dinosaur sticker on her cheek and went over to Noah and Sam. She looked at Noah, curious if he had heard anything. Noah said nothing. "Okay, then! So what should we-" The teacher interrupted her.

"CLASS, YOU GOT YOUR ROOM NUMBERS EARLIER TODAY. YOU WILL NOW GO INTO YOUR ROOM AND MEET YOUR ROOMATES."

Brina looked at Sam and Noah. "See you later!" She left for her room, and the whole class did the same.

As it turned out, Brina, Sam, Noah, and Seth were all in the same room.

As Sam stepped into her room and noticed Brina and Noah in there, she smiled. When she noticed Seth was in there, she frowned again."Not YOU!", she hissed.

Seth started to back up. "W-Well I'm not so glad you're here either!", he said. In truth, he had no idea what he thought about her being there. On one hand he was happy because they might get to know eachother. On the other hand, he felt she might have an advantage on killing him if they were in the same room.

Brina laughed. "I am SO telling your kids about this!", she said.

Sam and Seth both snapped their heard around to her. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!", they demanded.

Brina snickered. "I said, I am SO telling your kids about this! AND your grandkids! And THEIR kids! Hehehehehehehe!" She started laughing so hard she plopped on the bed, she couldn't even breathe! Soon enough, she was terrorized by Sam and Seth and their pillows, but she did not stop laughing. Finally, she calmed down, and took a deep breath. "I still think you guys like each other though!" She teased.

Noah was in the corner, shaking. How can I be in the same room as Seth?! Brina went over to Noah. "Noah, don't you think Sam and Seth like each other?" She spoke in a happy tone. "N-no!" He was not in the mood today to get killed. She glared at him. "Come on, say you do!" "No!"

Seth gave Brina and annoyed look. "Well WERE going to tell YOUR ugly kids about how you guys met at the Summer Academy, and it was love at first site!" Noah blushed, but Brina smiled. "Cool!" She said, sort of shocking the people in the room. Brina turned to Noah and grinned. "I liiiiike you, do you like me?" Instantly, she thought, Most guys don't. Maybe I'll get lucky? His face got redder, and he wasn't sure how to reply. "Uhhh... ummm..." "I'll take that as a yes!" She said cheerfully. Noah said nothing, kind of shocked that anyone would like him. "Cool, we've got two couples in the room! Me and Noah, and you and Seth!"

The other two just glared at her.

Sam glared at her friend. "Two couples?! Me and Seth are NOT a couple! He's not even my friend!", she said pointedly. Seth looked slightly disapointed by the mention they were not friends. "Yeah!", he said to Brina, "I don't like her either!". Sam looked at Brina. "Anyway, what kind of classes are we taking during this Summer Academy thing?", she asked. Seth waited for the answer, still lookeding quite embarrased. How exactly did he feel about Sam? They were roomates and enemies. That was it! Seth eventually convinced himself this was true, though he was still doubting this.

Brina smiled, but figured she'd leave them alone. For now, at least. "I have no idea what classes. This is pretty much just camp. We get to be terrorized by other kids. It's going to be a lot of fun." She said, lacking in enthusiasm. The 10- year old ploped on the bed once more, bored, and stared blankly at the bunk above hers. Only a few seconds after, she closed her eyes and curled up for a nap.

"Uh... Brina, you do realize we aren't going to be here that long, right? You can't go to sleep now..." He said in his commonly low voice. Brina just grinned, and started loudly fake snoring. Sam giggled, but the boys didn't look amused at all. "Man, you are weird..." Seth said in an annoyed tone. Noah said nothing, he was actually sort of upset because he saw this as a way of Brina making fun of him. I knew it was too good to be true...

Brina ended the snoring, and opened her turquoise-gray eyes and sat up. She noticed Noah seemed a bit down. "Hey, Noah, are you okay?" She asked sympathetically. He didn't reply. "He's just thinking about the worthless piece of garbage he is, Brina. Don't bother him." He said, smiling evilly. "Why don't you shut up?!" She growled back at him, and went over to Noah. "Come on, what's wrong... tell me..." But the boy still gave no answer.

Sam frowned at Noah. "She was kidding, Noah. Don't get offended by it!", she told him, guessing how he was feeling. "She still wants to be your friend!".

Noah cheered up slightly after that, but he was still doubting it. "Why would she ever want to be friend with me?", he asked himself. That just made him depressed and he went and sat up on his bunk depressed. Brina noticed this, and she joined him on his bunk, trying to convince him they were still friends. Noah cheered up slightly, but let her talk. He loved listening to her talk.

Back on the ground floor, Sam turned to Seth and growled, getting very close to him again. "I KNOW WHERE YOU SLEEP!", she declared "I WOULDN'T BE MAKING FUN OF MY FRIENDS IF I WERE YOU!". Then she growled in a low voice and Seth began to back up again. "Chill, chill", he murmured. "PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!", he said louder, almost yelling. Sam proceded to chew him out.

Back on the bunk, Noah and Brina were watching Sam chewing Seth out, and giggling sometimes. "Hey Brina?", Noah asked. "Yeah?". "How did Sam know exactly what I was feeling back there?", he asked.

Brina's eyes lit up at the question. "Me and Sam are psychic!" She announced cheerfully, with full confidence. Noah gave her a confused look."Psychic...?" "Yeah, psychic!" Noah was quiet for a moment, just staring at her. Looking annoyed, she retorted, "Well we are!" Noah tilted his head. "I don't even know what that means..."

Her eyes widened. "You don't know what psychic means?" Noah started to feel a bit stupid, and definitely embarrassed. "...no..." He answered, very hesitant. "I can't believe you don't know what it means!" He began to feel even worse about himself. "It means we can tell the future, or the past, present, or we just know things that we have no way of knowing, were sensitive to things and it's really cool!" Her voice was filled with excitement as she spoke, she loved this topic!

"...really?" He couldn't be sure if this was a trick to make fun of him. "Yeah! It's really fun!" Well, she sounded like she was telling the truth, but it didn't exactly sound too realistic... "Why could she tell what I was feeling though, and you couldn't?"

All the excitement faded in an instant, and Brina was filled with jealousy, anger, and sadness. "Sam's just more psychic than me." She said, her tone having changed and all the life sucked out of it. Noah felt a bit guilty he didn't want to make her sad! Once again, he had no clue what to say to her. After a moment of silence between the two, he asked, "Can you two do that psychic thing on me?" Brina glared at him. "No, let Sam do, she seems to pick up on you better." She hissed, and Noah backed away slightly.

Sam noticed what Brina was saying. "That's not true!", Sam told Noah, "I haven't even been able to read minds yet! Brina's super good at that stuff. I'm more of an empath, meaning that I work well with feelings. I can walk in a random room and tell you how everyone feels.

Noah was excited until he looked down to look at Sam while she was talking. He immediatley started to feel woozy and very incomfortable and scared.

"You ok?", Brina asked worridley. "Afraid of heights!", came her soft reply. Brina helped Noah down from the top bunk and he sat down and started to feel slightly better. He looked thankfully at Brina.

Seth began laughing. "Wittle Noah's afraid of heights!", he teased. Sam growled. "I'm somewhat afraid of heights to! You wanna make something of it?!", she said angerly. Seth once again started backing up and shook his head. Sam growled again, crossing her arms.

Brina and Noah looked at eachother in amusement.

"Hey Brina...?" Noah asked, his voice becoming sad, as usual. "Hmm?" He started tearing a bit, but tried holding it back. "You don't think I'm stupid, do you?" Brina's look became sympathetic once more. "No! Why would I think that?" Her voice was full of concern as she got closer to him. "Because I'm afraid of heights..." Brina hugged him, sort of surprising him. "That doesn't make you stupid! We all have fears! I'm afraid of bugs, Tesora, people, aliens, and lots of other things! Look at Seth! He's afraid of Sam!" She said giggling. Noah smiled slightly, and hugged her back. The hug was over pretty fast, and he regretted it. He had never been hugged in his life, and being so close to her made him feel so safe and happy.

The teacher slammed the door open, making everyone jumped, their hearts pounding. "WERE ALL GOING OUTSIDE! MEET THE CLASS IN THE BACKYARD IN FIVE MINUTES!" And he slammed the door shut, causing everyone to cringe. "Our, my ears... HOW DID HE KNOW SOMEONE WASN'T BEHIND THAT DOOR?! HE COULD'VE KILLED SOMEONE!" Seth grinned. "Maybe he thought Noah was behind the door!" He laughed, but then he was once more attacked by Sam. He really needed to learn to watch his mouth around this girl!

"For all we know, Sam could be secretly in love with Noah as well as Seth!" She giggled. "Brina, I am a one guy's person." Brina smirked. "So you DO like one of them! Which one do you like?!" It'd better not be Noah, because he's mine! "You'll never know!" She replied with a wink. Brina gasped. "So you DO like one of them!"

"Will you two just shut up already so we can leave!" Seth growled, and stormed out the door. Noah sighed. "I'd rather not go..." Brina smiled at him. "Maybe no one will hurt you because you're with us?" She said in an optimistical way. He sighed again, and started tearing once more. "Brina, I don't think it'll make a difference..." She hugged him again, and then he got that happy feeling all over him once more. "Come on Noah! We might be doing something fun! You never know!" After that, she ran ahead. "Come on!"

Sam followed excitedly after her, but Noah just stood there, debating on what to do. Well, I can't stay in this room alone or I'll be killed... He chased after them.

After the four children arrived in the backyard of the school, their teacher cleared his throat for their class. When that didn't he work, he yelled "CLASS SHUT-UP!". The class settled down immediatley. "Okay class, today you're going to get your partners for the rest of the summer academy", he started naming names. Brina and Noah were paired together, as were Sam and Seth. Sam and Seth groaned when they heard their names, while Noah and Brina seemed to enjoy being paired together.

"Aw, you two were paired! I always knew you were meant to be!" Brina looked very delighted with the pairing, and turned to Noah. "What Pokemon did you get earlier? I sadly got a mean Charizard." At the word Charizard, Noah cringed. "Um, I don't know what I got..." He said, taking out the red and white capsule and staring it. "Well then, let's see what you got!" Hesitantly, thinking, I never had good luck.. He threw the Pokeball forward. Out came!... a Magikarp. He turned as red as the Magikarp itself from embarrassment, and Brina giggled. Noah was distraught, but Brina gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry Noah. For all we know, we may turn out to be the best trainers here!"

Noah didn't seem to confident. "Brina... it's a Magikarp. It can't do anything." His voice was a bit louder now as he started to become used to talking to her. "Oh, yes it can! Magikarp, use Tackle!" The fish flopped around, and then flopped itself forward with little force. "You call that a Tackle? We're never going to win." Brina still wasn't giving up! "But if it knows Tackle, that means it'll evolve soon! We'll be EXTREMELY powerful!" Noah flinched, and he looked frightened. "E-evolve?! But uit evolves into Gyrados, Brina! GYRADOS! It can't evolve! He was shaking, but Brina looked excited. "I'd love to have a Gyrados! Maybe they are a bit scary, but they're so strong!" Noah didn't look convinced.

"NOW THAT WE HAVE OUR PAIRS, IT'S TIME TO BATTLE. SETH AND SAM VERSUS TESORA AND MIKO." The teacher announced. Brina looked shocked. Miko's here?! Suddenly, she wasn't sure who was more important right now- Noah or Miko?

Sam marched over to her friend and whispered in her ear. "So with the first choice", she said with a wink. She didn't know why, but when she was sensing Brina's feeling, she could feel Brina liking the first choice better, though she had no idea what was going on in her mind. Then she walked over to Seth and winked at him. "You ready?", she asked.

Seth was filled with a burst of confidence as Sam winked at him. He gave her his boyish grin and nodded. "Of course!", he said, "We're going to whip some butt!". Sam agreed immediatley, to his delight.

Both teams got into position, and Miko stared at Sam, smiled at her and winked. Sam rolled her eyes. Seth glared even harder at Miko.

Brina blushed slightly as Sam told her to go with the first choice. 'But I've only known Noah for a few hours, and I've known Miko much longer than that!' She thought to herself, pondering her thoughts. She cringed as she saw Tesora their with her confident "i-will-beat-you-no-matter-what" grin and the dark look in her eyes. Noah backed away slightly, and she did the same. "Why are /you/ backing away?" He asked. "You've got nothing to be afraid of."

"Oh yes I do! Tesora used to be my best friend, and now she hates me more than anything." Noah's eyes widened. How could Brina have been best friends with a girl that mean?! She seemed so nice... but what if this was all a trap? "Why were you friends with her?" Brina sighed. "I thought she was nice, but then she turned out to be... a really, really horrible person." SHe started tearing at the memories, but pushed it back. 'You've got to be pretty good to fake tearing,' Noah thought. 'Maybe she's not kidding...'

"OKAY CLASS! LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!"

Miko threw his PokeBall and out came a Dragonite. The Summer Academy was filled with shocked stares and "Ohhs" and "Ahhhs", and Miko smiled proudly. "I love being rich! I BOUGHT this Drangonite!" Brina giggled, remembering how he always "bought" everything to fit his needs perfectly. "Go Miko!" She shouted, and the boy gave a her a look and shifted a bit in the opposite direction, disappointing Brina. Sam glared at her. "HEY! WHY ARE YOU CHEERING FOR THEM?! I'M YOUR BEST FRIEND!" Brina was even more upset. Well, Miko's my best friend too... or was... "Sorry." She muttered. Tesora glared at Sam. Stupid idoit, replacing me, I'm going to kill her...

Tesora threw her Pokeball. "GO NINETAILS!" Her voice was blazed with anger, and she sought for revenge. The Ninetails came out of the red laser, it's white pelt shining. It landed gracefully in front of it's trainer, and waited for further directions.

"LET THE BATTLE BEGIN." The teacher announced, and the commands were shouted among the four.

"BLASTOISE, HYDRO PUMP ON NINETAILS!"
"SWAMPERT, ICE BEAM ON DRAGONITE!
"FLUFFY, USE HYPER BEAM ON SWAMPERT!" Many people giggled at the name for Miko's Dragonite.
"NINETAILS, USE FIRE BLAST ON BLASTOISE! KILL IT!

Due to move-type advantages, it was an amazing one kit-KO. Who won? Obviously, Sam and Seth.

As the two celebrated their victory, Tesora and Miko just had blank looks on their faces. "I can't believe we just lost." Tesora hissed. "Yeah, I know... and I had a-!" Before he could finish, Tesora smacked him. "YOU IDIOT! IT'S YOUR FAULT WE LOST!" The brown haired girl stomped away angrily, and Miko was cringing. Why did girls aways have to hurt him like that?! Then again, he always hated Tesora anyway.

Sam and Seth highfived, then in her hyperness, Sam hugged Seth really tight, making him smile. "WE WON!", she shouted in her high-pitched voice, making her sound more like she was 5 years old. Then she quickly kissed his cheek and ran off toward Brina and Noah, still very much on an adrenaline rush.

Brina and Noah listened to her rant for about 10 minutes before Brina interupted Sam. "YOU KISSED SETH ON THE CHEEK AND NOW HE'S STARING!", she said, pointing behind Sam. Sam blushed and turned around, to see Seth talking to some of his friends. She turned back and glared at Brina.

"Maybe you look!", Brina said, winking playfully at her. Sam only glared back. "That wasn't funny!", she said. Noah laughed softly and nodded. "Yes it was!". Brina looked triumphant until Sam said, "You know Noah, you don't always have to agree with your girlfriend!". Both kid's expressions fell. Sam once again got a triumphant gleam in her eyes.

Seth came over to congradulate Sam again, but as he approached, Sam took one look at him, blushed slightly, yelled "I DON'T LIKE YOU!", and ran to the other side of the crowd. Seth looked thoroughly confused, but left to rejoin his friends before Brina or Noah (but particurally Brina) could tease them. After a few minutes of talking with is friends, he walked back over to Sam. She started to move away, then he yelled, "Hey, I don't like you either!". That seemed to cheer her up, and she smiled and yelled "Well I don't like you MORE!", right back at him before going to rejoin Brina and Noah. Seth shook his head and decided he would let her win that round before going to talk to his friends.

Brina's eyes shined as she thought of a great comeback. "Today is opposite day!" she mused happily. "That means you're fighting over who loves each other more! HA!" Sam turned angrily to Brina. "You've got three seconds to run." Brina hid behind Noah. "You'll protect me right?" Noah ran off right away, and she just gave him a shock and annoyed stare. "HEY! WAIT FOR ME!" She chased after him, as Sam started chasing her. "See! Your boyfriend isn't going to protect you!" "And I really don't care!" Brina started laughing, but was losing her breath and energy rapidly. Sam managed to get to Brina, and playfully tackled her. "AHHH NOOOO!" Brina pretended to fall down in slow motion, and then she hit the ground, overexaggerating her "death." Sam laughed, but Noah gave her a weird look, and so did others.

Seth came over. "Why are you so weird?" He asked. "I'm not weird! I'm cool!" The whole class burst out laughing, which was so unexpected she cringed. She started tearing, and the kids started up again with their earlier rant. "CRY! CRY! CRY" Now, this was making it REALLY easy for her to cry. But instead she laughed, almost evilly, and snarled for everybody to shut up. The class got quiet, and she glared at them. She then mocked them "Crrryyyy crrryyyy! Can't wait to do that to you when YOU'RE about to cry! Haha! Treat people how you want to be treated..." Instead, they only burst out laughing again. "WOW! You're SO lame!" Brina pretty much just blanked her mind, and walked off, towards the building, then broke into a run, and hid behind it. She could hear their laughing in the distance, but she didn't care. She only started crying. 'Why does everyone hate me...'

Sam yelled at them. "She HAS a point you know! How would you feel if-" She was cut off as the whole class started ganging up on her. She got nervous, but Seth came to her rescue. "Guys, guys, chill! Come on, maybe our teacher will announce the next battle." They all glared at Seth, but reluctantly obeyed. Fortunately, he was correct.

"BRINA AND NOAH VERSUS SAM AND SETH!"

Unfortunately, this battle was flawed. One, Brina had gone off somewhere to hide. Two, Noah was terrified of Seth so he probably wouldn't battle. "Um, teacher, Brina's missing..."
"WELL FIND HER, THEN!"

Sam and Noah went off to look for Brina, and Seth secretly followed. Noah tried to think about which direction he remembered her wandering off to. "I think she's behind the building..." He was correct, they found her right away. Noah just stood there and stared, unsure how to comfort her, but Sam went over and did the comforting.

Sam immediatley came up and tackled her friend. "They're idiots!", she insisted. Brina was still hiccuping through sadness, then said "That was still so unlike you, standing up in front of the class"

Sam blushed "Well I couldn't let them make fun of you, could I?", she teased. Brina smiled. "You know, Seth stood up for you again!", she said. Sam blushed harder, then shrugged. "Seth's not a nice guy if he can't stand up for my best friend too. Not worth my time, either!". Noah stood awkwardly to the side, wondering what to do.

Seth, on the other hand, was behind the wall, careful not to get seen. He heard Sam's comment and really took it to heart. What was he supposed to do? Sam wouldn't give him the time of day, and that defenetley wasn't what he wanted. But he didn't want to be the least popular kid in the school either, which is where he would end up if he started defending the trio. The though made him ponder his priorities.

"Summer Academy is for only two weeks....", he thought. And with that thought, he chose.

"NOAH AND BRINA, SAM AND SETH, GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!"

Brina cringed. "I don't want to go over there, they're going to laugh at me again..."
"No they won't!"
"Yes they will..."
"No they won't! Now come, let's battle!"

All four of the trainers were ready for battle. Noah was shaking, and Brina was just blank, reflecting over the past events. Only negative thoughts flew through her mind, but she wasn't the only one. Noah was doing the same.

"LET THE BATTLE BEGIN."

Nasty comments went all around. "Look at the LOSER team! The lowest of the low! Watch them loooooose!"

Brina was shaking. Half of her was ambitious and determined to prove them wrong. With a shaking hand, she half-heartedly threw her PokeBall. "Go Charizard." She said blankly.

Noah was too nervous to throw his PokeBall. 'How can I show them a Magikarp>' Brina gave him a light glare. "Either you throw it, or I will throw it for you."
