Seers of the North
Intelligent wolves, gifted by the Lost Ones with special abilities such as Foresight, Mindreading and Mind Reading. They are long-bodied and willowy, giving them a frail appearance that gives them speed on the forested plains of the north.
Warriors of the East
Vicious wolves of the eastern marshes, given sharp claws and long fangs to match their excellent but deadly fighting technique and blood lust. They are strong and tower of others, giving the Warriors of the East the intimidating presence needed for their violent gift.
Hunters of the South
Peaceful hunters, blessed by their ancestors with quick wit, agility and lightning-fast reflexes to aid in their well-respected art of hunting. The Hunters are built for speed -- which is what they need on the moorlands of their home.
Minds of the West
This pack lives among the mountains in the west of the Wild. They are gifted with extreme intelligence (math, geography, science) by the Lost Ones. The Minds of the West are muscular and stout, and have an extreme tolerance of pain.
The Lost Ones
The Lost Ones are the packs’ wolf ancestors, long since lost from the earth. They guide the packs with their ancient and noble powers and have created the Lost Code: the laws that all wolves must abide or risk punishment. Some say the Lost Ones live in the Hidden Forest, and join the packs in their full moon-gatherings. They are believed to be images of their former selves, masked by stars and moonbeams with a spectral, awing presence.
Shadow-Walkers
Shadow-Walkers live in the barren desert in the far west of the Wild, a long distance from the packs. They are the wolves that have been abandoned as pups, exiled or driven-out of their packs or the wolves that have set off, striving to start a new life with their own pack. They are varied in their appearance, as they come from every direction. Some are strong, some are smart and some just don’t fit in at all. Their presence haunts the packs, and the Shadow-Walkers are beings of evil to them.
