Here are the traditional starters of meetings and stuff::
- When starting clan meetings, begin with the customary
yowl:
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join together for a meeting of the clan."
- When upgrading a kit to an apprentice, begin with the traditional speech:
"This moonhigh, we gather together to name a new apprentice. From this day forward, untill he/she has earned his/her warrior name, this apprentice will be called _____paw. >warrior to be a mentor to new apprentice<, you will train _____paw. >mentor's mentor< was you mentor, I hope that his/her skill and wisdom will pass through you to your new apprentice."
- When upgrading an apprentice into a warrior, begin with the traditional speech:
"I, >Leader's name<. leader of >Clan Name<, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He/she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him/her to you as a warrior in his/her turn. >apprentice's name<, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?" (Apprentice Reply "Yes" or "No", better be "yes") "Then, by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. >apprentice's name<, from this moment on, you will be known as >apprentice's new name<. Starclan Honors you, and we welcome you as a full warrior of >Clan Name<."
When changing the name of a warrior, use the following trditional speech ::
"Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment he/she will be known as >New name here<, >reason if you want<."
-When choosing a new Deputy:
"I, >leader's name< say these words before StarClan, that the spirts of our ancestors, and >old deputy's< spirit, may hear and approve my choice. >cats name< will be the new deputy of >Clans name<"
