How to Make a Bio

Name :: What I like to do is find something unique about the cat, and find the picture first, and then I go to thesaurus.com or something and look up some cool words.

Age in Moons :: You don't want to make them really old. 1 moon is about 1 month, and a kit has to be under 6 moons, an apprentice has to be at least 6 moons, and I'd say a warrior at the youngest would be 10 moons. The oldest a cat should be before it's an elder is 48 moons, that way you can RP you cat for a long time before it has to be an elder at 60 moons.

Appearence :: Should be 4 lines long at least, needs to be good detail. Some things advise ::

-Explain every little detail, the cat's in your head and not ours so we can't see what you cat looks like.

-Any scars?

-Abnormal features? (cannot be flying or any super powers like that, lol)

-Pelt length/color, soft? Coarse? Matted? Smooth?

-Eye color, tail, claws, etc.

-Use complete sentences! Don't make list of things of what you cat looks like like :: "Muscular and furry. Big, has sharp claws. And is yellow." or something like that. If you can, use the most descriptie words you can think of.

Personality :: There needs to be at least one flaw and 4 lines long. You can explain what you charri does in certain situations. This is a really hard category iin my opinion to extend on. But make them have a varied personality rather than they're just happy all the time and nice and they get mad sometimes, because that's obvious, everyone is happy at times and mad at times.

History :: Tell about family, past events, etc. If they're a warrior, then tell their story in paragraphs from when they were a kit, if they're a kit, tell about their parents and their siblings. How their parents met, etc.

RP Example :: SEE "HOW TO RP"

Okay. Just doing a bit of advertising, but oh well. I'm not a very good RPer because I'm young(I'm 11). But I am very good at names and stuff like that. My friend does that alot, he can't find a good name so I give him some advise. I will start a thread in OOC where guests and other people can ask me for names.

Name Advise::

1.) Think of your favorite animal or something

2.) If your charri has a abnormal feature and is a warrior it could be something like, this isn't my best name because I'm about to get off and being rushed but, as an Example: Crookedtail, Crookedjaw, Crookedfoot, Brokentail, Brokenfoot ect.

3.)What about the color of your charris pelt, a very popular nameing thing. As an Example: Shadowpelt, Blackpelt, Snowpelt, Frostfur, Firepelt ect.

4.) Anything about the personality? As an Example: Brokenheart, Shatteredheart, Littleheart ect.

Okay, These aren't my best names because I'm rushing but I hope you like my advise. It might be lame to you guys because I'm 11 but still....

I'd also offer name advice if you want...I have a whole list I should post somewhere...*shrugs*...I won't name them all here though...just ask me sometime..or PM me...and personally, coming up with a personality is my weak spot...when you read my old bios you'll see a way long appearance and history but the minimal personality...but I can offer help with appearance if you want...

Well for appearance you can split it up into pieces like:
FUR
SIZE
CLAW AND TEETH
SCARS
ect.

Well that's what I do now a days!

What do you mean? How to create the thread? You have to go to the bio acceptance board, then at the top right of the board there should be a link that says "New Thread" and you click it, type what you want, and click "Post Message" At the bottom.

Here's an idea. I don't know if it's good, but for apperence or personality you could set yourself in a scene of some kind. Ex. moon light clearing, battle field, moorland ect.

Anyway, the tips are really helpful, just wish I'd read this before modi-ing my bio. It's 1 AM and I'm too lazy to drag my tail back there and modi it again.
And putting your appearance, personality, etc. in character isn't allowed, I think.
