As some of you already know I am Pagan. This means i am not Christian or of a common belief. There are ALOT of 'branches' of Paganisim and it is very uncommon to find two Pagans with the same thoughts and beliefs.
I personally consider myself to be Elective (meaning I beleve some of the following religion but not all) Wiccan and Elective Shalmanic. I have a firm belief in the Wiccan Rede ( "And it harm non do as ye wilt"), the moon goddess, the sun god, that the divine (god and goddess) are not beings but live through and within every living thing. Also I have a strong faith in Power Animals.
Power Animals have many opinions on what they actualy are. Some put them into seperate groups ( 'the messanger' 'the helper' and such) But I think that a Power animal is the essence of yourself, your soul, what makes you you. I think a power animal teaches you a lesson or many lessons that help you take on some of it's personality as your own therefor being apart of you for the rest of your life. I beleve you can have many power animls in your life and when a new one apears the old one is still there ready to be called on while you learn the lessons of the new animal.
I named my two power animals for the sake of a name. My oldest is Nyx (pronounced Nox) is named after Nyx the greek goddess of the night. I got her in gr.4 when I needed her most and se is a white wolf. She has tought me to: be fair, work my way up, earn my respect, comunicate through song (i'm a singer btw), listen, be creative, help guide toughs in need.
Lastly leo, leo.....I have yet to see a clear vision in a dream or through meditation of this lion( shocking a lion I knwo) named after the astrological sign leo. I am not sure if it is female or male but i lean towards female because the lion is a sign of female empowerment. Leo has come into my life just this year in my first year of highschool to help me adjust. Leo has tauhgt me: How to me assertive, logical, brave, be a leader, not be afraid to speak my opinion, to act, be strong emotionaly, be proud of who i've become and am becoming, not to be bossed around.
Together Leo and Nyx have created the Spirit you know today...speaking os Spirit something almost none of you know is SpiritFire is my Magickal Name.
Magickal Name- A name you and other witches may use to assist you with spellcraft. I myself use SpiritFire just as my true identity and an empowering name. Not much to that.
I came about the name Spiritfire when I was thinking about the combination of Leo and Nyx. Leo has a proud nature, strong and confident, full of passion while Nyx is calm, creative, a teacher and a guide.
I wanted a name that told thier stories and personalities but also said who i was, who I am, and who I will be.
Spirit- I figured out this part of my name through what I want to be. Comming into gr.9 I pushed myself to be active and the student and friendly such as Nyx. I want to become a high spirited person. ( hint 'Spirit') But on the other hand I chosse Spirit to represent a powerful energy that can not be seen or felt, noone knwos a spirit is real yet we all have one. Blind trust!
fire- This half is more leo ofcourse, brave, proud, and strong. Fire is beutiful to watch but burns when touched. Don't get on my bad side. This is who i have been. I can loose my temper ((though noones really seen me lose it here nor do I plan on ever losing my temper here )) and when I do it is much like the fire's burning. Fire has been used throughout the ages to make metal for swards and wepons relating to action, agression, courage, and leadership. Also I relate fire to the olypic flame. A sign os hope, dreams, and alot of work.
Thus creating Spiritfire a summery of everything I am, was, and want to be, including my very soul wiht Nyx and Leo
Now that i'm done ranting about my beleifs I supose I should post this.

But i think that whatever you do in this life, how much good you do, is rewarded by what you come back as. If you do alot of good and live your life to the fullest you come back as what you want to be, SpiritAnimal or otherwise, but if you just do rotten things the gods and godesses sentence you to a life as a thief, rat, bug and such.
