The darkest night with stars alight to peaceful days, the sunshine bright. PERSEPHONE [PART 2]Then the snow turned to hail, And I knew my mother cried for me, But he laughed and pulled me into an embrace. His robe smelled dank with rotting flesh, As he touched my skin, colder than ice, He slipped the golden ring onto my finger, And forced his lips onto mine.
Today I married the Lord of Death, As the world around me died.
