An Eeevee story (Horrible Name -_-)

"C'Mon Kyle!", a red-head called back annoyedly to her triplet brother, older that her by a full 7 minutes. He was on the ground, laughing with his Umbreon. His bestfriend, Brooke, and her Espeon stood beside them, looking amused. However, Alex rolled her eyes, clearly not.

"I'm coming!", Alex's triplet called, jumping up from the ground. Her Umbreon stood loyaly by his side,appearing to smirk as he stood beside his master. He then got closer to Espeon as Kyle fell into step beside Brooke. The two pokemon were greatly enjoying eachother's company, and ,although he didn't want to admit it, Kyle enjoyed Brooke's company as well.

The group continued down the long road, with the occasional squabble from Kaden and Alex about which road to go down, until it started to get dark and the light warm summer breeze blew all around the group, catching in Brooke's hair, making herself and Kyle blush. Alex yawned, oblivious her her brother's blush, and started complaining to Kaden

"Kaden, you slave driver! Lets stop and get some sleep!". Then, without waiting on anyone else, she walked off, stopping in a clearing not too far away and laying down her sleeping bag anf getting into it, Flash climbing in right beside her. Kaden glared after her, calling

"It was your idea to go this far! I wanted to stop hours ago!". Alex raised her hand as the group got closer.

"Stella, make us some dinner! This slave-driver has me famished!", she said. Stella looked angry as she placed her hands on her hips

"Only if you get your butt out of that sleeping bag and go get more wood!", she gripped. Alex agreed, sighing as she said

"I live with slave drivers! C'Mon Flash, lets go!". She retured a few moments later, and dinner was on. Alex ate and ate and ate, returning to bed,along with the others not long after.



The next morning, Kyle's chocolate brown eyes flickered open before anyone else was even close to waking up. He looked down at the foot of his sleeping bag, where the two Eeveelutions were curled up at his feet. Umbreon looked up at his master sleepily. Kyle smiled and patted his head.

"Lets go train, alright?", he said

"I want you to be able to beat Flash one of these days!", he joked. The umbreon nodded and followed his master into the forest for some early morning training.

About two hours later, a scream pierced the air. Kyle's eyes widened as he turned to Umbreon

"That's Brooke!", he said, worridly, then he took off for the camp, Umbreon at his heels.

"What is it!", he said, rushing up to Brooke. The brown head looked at her hands. Kyle looked curious. He had been staring at her face and hadn't noticed the oval shaped object in her hands.

"It's a pokemon egg!", Brooke announced. Kyle looked more curious.

"What's so bad about that?", he asked. Brooke looked at him now.

"I found it by Espeon this morning! Umbreon is the father, I know it!", she said. Kyle crossed his arms

"And what's so bad about THAT!", he said, a little offended, thinking perhaps she didn't want Umbreon fathering Espeon's egg because he was too weak.

"You don't know what they say about two pokmon falling in love?", she asked. Kyle shook his head, and Brooke blushed. Alex now walked up to the two and gave an evil grin.

"Honestly bro! Dad told us a hundred times! When two trainer's pokemon fall in love, so do the trainers!", she said. Kyle blushed

"No way!", he said, crossing his arms. Alex smiled

"Whatever, bro! You'll see!" she said, then walked away. Kyle shook his head and looked at Brooke.

"Well I guess we can carry it for them, right?", he said. Brooke nodded and hugged the egg to her chest and smiled.

"I think it's exciting that Espeon is going to have a kid!", she said. Kyle nodded.

Once again, the day was exausting and Alex pushed and well as complained to Kaden, calling him 'Slave-driver' at regular intervals. Although today they came across something different.

"It's a house!", Alex exclamed. Kaden looked at her and sighed

"Yes, Alex, it's a house!", he said, clearly annoyed. Alex smiled

"Lets go see what they have for dinner!", she said, martching to the front of the house and knocking on the door before anyone could stop her. Kaden dashed off after her as soon as an elderly couple answered the door.

"Hi!", Alex said cheerily "What's for dinner?", she asked, not caring what the couple thought of her. They smiled at the little girl at the doorstep, but smiled bigger when Kaden appeared behind her and said

"Alex! It's rude to go up to someone's house and ask that!". Alex looked confused

"Well I do it to you guys all the time!", she said, indignitly. The old couple smiled and the old lady ushered them all in

"It's perfectly fine!It's been a long time since we've had company!", she said. Alex motioned for the group to follow them inside.

"We'll only stay for the night", Kaden promised. The old man nodded

"If you wish", he said. The old woman informed them as they got inside that chicken noodle soup would be their dinner. Alex, of course, was very enthusiastic, and ate 4 bowls before she was full. The whole group enjoyed a good night's sleep in their own beds.

The next morning, as Kyle woke up and ventured into the kitchen for breakfast, Brooke behind him 10 minutes later, they found the old couple already in the kitchen.

"You know, you're doing a mighty fine job with that Umbreon!", the old man said, looking at Umbreon. Kyle nodded,

"Thanks!", he said. The old woman told Brooke the same thing about her Espeon. Alex and the rest got up about half an hour later, after Kyle and Brooke discovered the old couple were very lonley, and the woman used to have an Espeon, while the man used to have an Umbreon, but the pokemon died. Kyle and Brooke looked eachother as their friends prepared to leave and nodded, a silent signal.

"Umbreon, would you like to stay here?", Kyle asked Umbreon. Umbreon looked back at the old couple, feeling their lonelyness. It nodded, and Espeon decided the same thing. Kyle and Brooke walked up to the old couple, careful to hide their sadness.

"Umbreon and Espeon would rather stay here, would that be OK?", Kyle asked. The old woman was shocked

"We couldn't do that to you two!", she said. Kyle took the egg out of Brooke's backpack.

"Don't worry, we still have a piece of them.", he said. The old woman smiled

"If you're sure!", she said, clearly excited. Kyle nodded

"We're sure". Then he walked off with Brooke, and the group started off on the road again, Brooke clutching the egg, the last piece of Espeon and Umbreon, to her chest.

Well, time flies when your having fun, and reading this story is no exeption. A few weeks went by and you didn't even know it!

Brooke carried the egg through the forest the group happened to be traveling down, just thinking. Ever since she had given Espeon away, the egg had remained her constant companion. Kyle walked beside her, his hands behind his head.

"I wish that egg would hatch already!", Alex said, annoyed. Kaden rolled his eyes

"Alex, wat are we going to do with you?!", he exclamed. Alex smiled

"Keep me so I can save your butt when you get in a fight you can't handle!". Kaden flushed with anger.

"Hey!", he yelled "I can handle anything and anybody!". Alex grinned

"C'Mon then! Fight me right here!", she challenged as everyone groaned. Then an ominous crack sound was heard.

Brooke looked down at the egg in her hands.

"It's hatching!", she said, suprised. The world seemed to stop for that moment as the young trainers watched the crack grow larger on the egg. Finally, the egg broke open and a furry brown and white shape was in it's place.

"It's an Eevee!", Brooke cooed as if she hadn't known before. Kyle immediatly stood beside her. However, Alex and Kaden couldn't move.

"I'm an Aunt", Alex muttered. Kaden looked at her, suppressing a laugh. Alex glared at him, and he started laughing. Kaden took off running, Alex on his heels

"Kaden Rose! Get your butt over here! If you were so much as thinking I was old, I'm going to kill you!", she yelled. Everyone else was too preoccupied with the new member of the group to notice though.

"What is it?", Kyle asked. Brooke slapped him

"It's an Eevee, stupid!", she said. Kyle shook his head

"No! Is it a boy, or a girl?", he asked. Brooke shrugged.

"Lets ask.", she said. She looked at the Baby pokemon

"Are you a boy?", she asked. The Eevee shook it's head. Brooke looked at Kyle

"It's a girl!", she said. Kyle nodded

"Should we name her?", Kyle asked. Brooke nodded. Kyle stared at Brooke for a long time.

"Lauren", he said finally,"After your mother". Brooke nodded. She looked down at the little Eevee.

"Your name is Lauren, OK?", she asked. She nodded

"Well,kid, Lauren, this is your Mama!"', Alex said, motioning toward Brooke "And this is your Papa", she said, motioning toward Kyle. Lauren nodded.

"You COULD'VE gotten married before you had a kid!", Kaden teased. Kyle smiled slightly

"Is that what you and Alex plan to do?", he asked, teasingly. Kaden blushed hard and walked away, Alex following not far behind.

"We're going to go set up camp!", she called. Kyle and Brooke busted out into laughter, sending Lauren into fits as well.

A few hours later, everyone was layed down. Lauren slept with Brooke, on Kyle's request. All of a sudden, a low whining sound was made. Kyle looked toward Brooke

"Something wrong?", he asked. Brooke shook her head.

"It's Lauren, she wants something", she said. Kyle looked confused. Lauren looked up between them, looking concentrated.

Then she held out a paw at both of them
"Mama! Papa!", she said, then she drew her paws together. Kyle blushed

"I think she wants us to sleep together.", he said. Brooke nodded, and the two sat in an akward silence. Lauren, however, looked intent to get her way. Finally Brooke sighed

"Move over, Kyle". Kyle obeyed, scooting over in his sleeping bag, and Brooke climbed in, putting Lauren inbetween them, facing Kyle's back.

Kyle heard the whining noise again. He turned over with a sigh, and the noise stopped, Lauren looking content. Kyle finally fell asleep soon followed by Brooke.

Kyle woke up to the sound of laughter. When his eyes opened, he saw Alex and the rest of his friends laughing.

"What happened?!", Alex said through her laughter. Kyle growled

"Shut Up Alex, it's not what you think!", he snapped
"Lauren wouldn't let us sleep apart!", he explained. Despite her brother's logical explanation and warning, Alex was still in fits of laughter.

"Well Kyle, your daughter will probably want to eat now!", Alex called, walked off.

"That egotistical..!", Kyle muttered "I can't wait until she finds out she and Kaden are going to have a kid!", he muttered. Brooke laughed

"They defenetly like eachother!", she giggled "but Kyle, be a bit nicer to your sister, she's her own self!", she said. Kyle sighed

"I just wish she would stop the endless torture". Brooke nodded

"Me too, but she's just jealous because she doesn't know how else to get close to Kaden, but she doesn't know he'll take any bait she throws out!", she said exasteratingly "Love is so complicated! Mom always used to tell me that!", she said. Kyle nodded

"Same with Dad! He always told me mom was stubborn, but he says Alex is worse!". They both laughed
