Preglance: Snow White
Fangs extending visible and obsecenly from their lips. True beasts in human form who suck the blood from living mortals. Vampires. Vampires do exist. You just don't realize they're there. . .
Cross Academy: a prestegious boarding school divided into two main groups- the Day Class and the Night Class. The Night Class is an elite group filled with wealthy students. . .who are all extremely beautiful. As the Day Class head back to the Sun Dorm at twilight, they cross paths with the Night Class who are on their way to the school. But. . .there's a secret. The Night Class is entirely made up of vampires.
For centuries at a time; humans and vampires have battled each other since the world was created. Due to one man's pacifist ideas- he created Cross Academy in hopes of building a bridge between the two species. Vampires and humans, its possible they can both coexist peacefully. Still, there are others who wish for this rare bloodline to cease living.
I have no memories before the death of my beloved parents, only that I was taken to a foster home shortly after. The fact that my mother was a vampire and that my father was a human is another secret I hold close to me. If anyone found out about the existance of vampire- havoc and chaos would arise. Yet, just another reason Cross Academy was created. The Day Class has no idea about the Night Class's dark shadow. Yuuki Cross, Zero Kiryuu, myself and the Headmaster are the only ones who know and protect the secret.
The four of us are guardians of the home we call school. . .

Chapter One: Open Heart
"Alright everyone! It's past curfew for everyone but the Night Class, so please go back to your dorms!"
"Boo! Let us see the Night Class disciplinary committee!"
This happened every evening. The Day Class would make such a fuss when the Night Class would come out of the Moon Dorm to the school. The two classes shared the same building for formal instruction, but never attended any classes together. In fact, it was a very rare occassion if students from the Day Class spoke to a member of the Night Class- which caused even more of a riot.
"Look! The gate is opening!"
Loud screams and swoons arose from the sea of love-sick girls as the entrance to the Moon Dorm opened.
"Good morning ladies! I see your all still lively today! How is your morning going so far today?" a blonde called out with a book sitting in his right arm, a large grin plastered onto his flawless face.
"Very good, Aidou-senpai!" the crowd echoed.
"Morning. . .? How is it morning if its twilight?"
"Don't be so down, you should really lighten up a little."
The prefect turned her head and stared at the man who was approaching her. A regal air seemed to float him as his dark auburn eyes sparkled in mere amusement.
"I'm sorry, Kaname-senpai. I'll try not to be so uptight. . ."
Kaname grinned.
"How are you feeling, Tsukiko? I just noticed your face looks a little pale. Are you taking good care of yourself?" Kaname's grin turned into a slight frown as he looked at the small and fragile girl in front of him.
"I'm fine, just tired is all," Tsukiko replied cooly through narrowed eyes.
Kaname sighed and finally nodded when he noticed a few other girls veening at the both of them.
"Kaname-sama?"
The two of them glanced as a radient Night Class student approached them. Extremely light brown hair covered the top of her head whilst ocean dyed eyes stared at the guardian with undeniable hatred.
"Hi Ruka-chan! Nice evening, isn't it?" Tsukiko sweat-dropped- shivering at her icy glare.
Ruka just remained silent.
"I better be going. Please say hi to Yuuki for me," Kaname blinked and finally followed after Ruka towards the academy.
A small blush appeared on the prefect's face as she placed her hand to her fore-head. "Wow! He really is mysterious. I wish I was as strong willed as Kaname is," the girl watched when they finally left with her hand still to her head.
She sighed as the Day Class began piling into the Sun Dorm for the night, a small tremble traveling up her spine.
"Tsuki?"
Tsukiko spun around quickly; waving to the brunette who was tilting her head to the side in light concern. "Hi there, Yuuki-chan. Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I should be asking you the same question though. You seem very tense about something."
Tsukiko shook her head reluctantly. "Nothing to worry about now," she answered. "at least you're here. Are you ready to start patrolling?"
Yuuki raised her eyebrow in question, but let a smile grace the bridge of her face. "Fine, fine. I think Zero bailed though. He has not been in class for the last couple of days."
Tsukiko swallowed down the sudden wave of emotion that Zero's disappearance brought on. "I-I'm sure he's okay. He's proably recovering from earlier. He is a-"
"I know, I'm just worried."
