Basically, the forest has been struck by an earthquake.
Trees have fallen, lanslides have destroyed Fireclan and Nightclan's camps, the river's current swelled strongly because of a sudden fall of rocks uphill, and dragged away cats trying to cross it to get to Oceanclan and Stormclan, and seek help.
When the earth stopped shaking, silence fell, and it was eerie. No sound could be heard.
Fullmoon came, and staggering shadows could be seen, all heading the same way: the Island.
There, the clan-cats met a few of their fellows, but though they waited till the moon went down, no-one else arrived.
They talked, and decided, that because so many cats had died in the Earthquake, and their numbers were poor, to band together for the time being.
Now it's fullmoon again, and a few old friends have caught up with the Clans; the leaders think that now it's clear the earth won't be shaking again, many Clanners who seeked the shelter of the city, will return.
But in the meantime, it's time to decide; are the Clans strong enough to go back to their own camps? Or will it take another moon, and maybe another after that? It's all up to the cats- but danger lurks in the shadows.
An old enemy, thought to be defeated, has been driven out of it's home by the destructiveness of the earthquake; Bloodclan is back, and ready for vengeance.
So who will you join? The Clans, desperately striving to regain their mightyness? Or the Bloodclan, led by the traitorous former Fireclanner, Owlclaw?
